Viewing Merchant Inventory as a 3PL Company in 3PLICITY

This guide explains how a 3PL company can view and monitor the inventory of associated merchants within 3PLICITY. This functionality provides visibility into product availability, stock distribution, and warehouse allocation to support logistics operations.

Accessing Merchant Inventory

  1. Navigate to the 3PLICITY platform.

  2. Select the 3PL tab on the login screen.

  3. Enter your Company credentials and click Sign In.

Once logged in, you will be directed to the main dashboard.

  1. From the left-hand navigation panel, click Inventory.

  2. Select Items.

This section displays the inventory across all merchants associated with your account.

Understanding the Inventory View

The Inventory screen provides two main sections:

Total Available by Product

This section displays a summarized view of all products, showing:

  • Product name

  • Total available quantity across all warehouses

Each product is listed with its total stock, allowing you to quickly assess overall availability.

Inventory by Warehouse

Below the summary, a detailed table shows inventory distribution per warehouse. Each entry includes:

  • Product

  • Merchant

  • Warehouse

  • Available Quantity

  • Status (such as Available, Low Stock, or Need to be Filled)

  • Last Updated

This table allows you to understand where inventory is stored and how it is distributed.

Filtering Inventory Data

You can refine the inventory view using the filters located at the top of the screen.

Filter by Merchant

  1. Click the Merchant dropdown.

  2. Select a merchant from the list.

The inventory view updates to display only the selected merchant’s products.

Filter by Warehouse

  1. Click the Warehouse dropdown.

  2. Select a warehouse.

The table updates to show inventory specific to that location.

Filter by Stock Status

  1. Click the Stock Status dropdown.

  2. Choose one of the following options:

    • All

    • Products Available (stock greater than 0)

    • Need to be Filled (stock equal to 0 or below threshold)

The inventory view updates accordingly, helping you identify available or depleted stock.

Navigating the Inventory Table

  • Use pagination controls to browse through multiple pages of inventory.

  • Click column headers to sort data by product name, merchant, quantity, or date.

  • Use available filtering options within the table to refine results further.

Inventory Status Indicators

Each product includes a status to help you quickly understand its condition:

  • Available – Product has sufficient stock

  • Low Stock – Product is approaching minimum stock levels

  • Need to be Filled – Product is out of stock or requires replenishment

These indicators help prioritize operational actions such as restocking or redistribution.

Access and Data Scope

  • You can only view inventory for merchants associated with your company.

  • All inventory data is securely linked to your account and reflects real-time updates based on merchant activity.

Summary

By using the Inventory section in 3PLICITY as a 3PL company, you can:

  • View all products across associated merchants

  • Monitor total and per-warehouse stock levels

  • Filter inventory by merchant, warehouse, and stock status

  • Identify products that require replenishment

This visibility enables better coordination, inventory planning, and operational efficiency across your logistics network.
