Update Merchant Account Information (Super Admin)
3PLICITY User Guide

Overview

The Back Office allows Super Admin users to manage and keep merchant account information up to date. This includes editing general details, updating email credentials, and controlling account access.

All changes made in the Back Office are reflected across the platform, including the associated 3PL Company dashboard.

Accessing the Back Office

  1. Navigate to the 3PL Back Office web application (URL currently under development).

  2. Click Sign In with Microsoft.

  3. Enter your organization credentials to access the Back Office dashboard.

Accessing Merchant Accounts

  1. From the top navigation menu, click Merchants.

  2. The system displays a table with all registered merchant accounts.

  3. Use the search bar or filters to locate a specific merchant if needed.

  4. Click on any merchant entry to open the Merchant Details page.

Editing Merchant Information

  1. Inside the Merchant Details page, click the Edit button.

  2. Update any of the available fields, such as:

    • Merchant Name

    • Email

    • Phone Number

    • Address (Line 1 and 2)

    • City

    • Additional profile details

  3. After making changes, click Save.

The system updates the merchant information immediately and reflects the changes across the platform, including the associated Company’s Customers section.

Updating Merchant Email (Login Credential)

  1. Open the Edit form from the Merchant Details page.

  2. Replace the existing email with a new valid email address.

  3. Click Save.

Once updated:

  • The new email becomes the merchant’s login credential.

  • A notification email is sent to the new address with confirmation details.

  • The merchant must use the new email for future logins.

Managing Merchant Access

Super Admins can enable or restrict merchant access using the account status control.

  1. Open the Edit form from the Merchant Details page.

  2. Locate the Banned or access toggle option.

  3. Enable the toggle to restrict access, or disable it to restore access.

  4. Click Save.

When access is restricted:

  • The merchant will not be able to log in.

  • When access is restored, the merchant can log in normally.

Data Consistency Across the Platform

All updates made in the Back Office are synchronized with:

  • The merchant’s account

  • The associated 3PL Company dashboard

  • Authentication systems (for login-related changes)

This ensures consistency and up-to-date information across all modules.

Notes

  • Only users with the Super Admin role can edit merchant accounts.

  • Email updates affect login credentials and should be handled carefully.

  • Changes are applied immediately after saving.

  • Merchants remain associated with their assigned 3PL Company during updates.
