Inviting Customers to 3PLICITY

3PLICITY allows you to invite customers (merchants) to the platform either individually or in bulk. This can be done during the onboarding process or later from the dashboard. Both flows follow the same logic and provide two invitation methods: manual entry and bulk upload.


Flow 1: Inviting Customers from the Dashboard

Manual Invitation

  1. Log in to 3PLICITY with your credentials.

  2. From the left panel, navigate to the Customers section and select Invite Customers.

  3. Enter the Merchant Name and Email into the fields provided.

  4. Click Add Merchant.

    • The merchant will appear in the Invitation List.

  5. Repeat the process to add more merchants if necessary.

    • Each new entry updates the invitation list.

  6. Click Continue or Next Step to proceed.

    • Invitation emails are sent automatically to the merchants you added.

  7. Merchants receive an invitation email with a link. By clicking the link, they are redirected to the 3PLICITY Merchant Sign Up page to create their account.


Bulk Invitation

  1. From the Customer Invite screen, select the Bulk Upload option.

  2. Download the CSV template provided.

    • This file shows the required format for uploading contacts.

  3. Fill in the CSV or Excel file with your merchants’ names and email addresses.

  4. Upload the completed file by clicking the Choose File option and then the Upload Merchants button.

    • The merchants appear in the Invitation List.

  5. If needed, you can remove entries from the list by clicking the Delete button.

  6. Once ready, click Continue or Next Step to proceed.

    • Invitation emails are sent automatically to the merchants in the uploaded file.

  7. Merchants receive an invitation email with a link to sign up on the platform.


Flow 2: Inviting Customers During Onboarding

Once onboarding is complete, you can also invite customers directly from the dashboard.

  • During onboarding, manually navigate to (or proceed with the flow to get to the step) to the Customer Invite screen.
  • Choose either the Manual Invite or Bulk Upload option.


    - The process is the same as described above for logged users.

Error Handling

When inviting customers, keep the following in mind:

  • Entering an invalid name or email format will trigger an error message.

  • Invitations cannot be sent with empty fields.

  • If you attempt to use an invalid or non-existing email, the invitation will not be delivered.

  • Uploading an empty or incorrect file format (instead of the CSV/Excel template) will result in an error or an empty list.


✅ With these steps, you can successfully invite customers to join your 3PLICITY network, either one by one or in bulk, ensuring smooth onboarding of your merchant partners.
