Merchant Account Creation in 3PLICITY
3PLICITY allows 3PL Companies to invite their customers to join the platform as Merchants. This process is completed in two stages: sending invitations and creating the Merchant account through the invitation link.
First Steps: Inviting Customers
You can invite customers to 3PLICITY either during the Onboarding process or later from the Dashboard. Both paths follow the same steps:
Log in to 3PLICITY with your credentials.
Go to the Customers section (accessible in the Onboarding flow or from the left panel on the Dashboard).
Select one of the available options:
Manual Invite – add customers individually.
Fill in the Merchant Name and Email fields.
Click Add Merchant to add the entry to the invitation list.
The invitation list updates as new customers are added.
Bulk Upload – add multiple customers at once.
Download the provided CSV template.
Fill it with customer information.
Upload the file back into the system.
Fill in the required details and confirm to send invitations.
The system sends an invitation email to all listed customers.
2. Customer Experience: Receiving and Using the Invitation
Invited customers receive an email with a secure invitation link.
By clicking the link, they are redirected to the Merchant Sign Up page in 3PLICITY.
Important:
Merchant Sign Up is only available through an invitation. It cannot be accessed directly from the public Sign Up page.
3PL Sign Up is not available via an invitation link.
3. Merchant Account Creation
Once on the Merchant Sign Up page, the invited customer can create their account:
Complete the required fields:
Merchant Name
First Name and Last Name
Email Address
Password and Confirm Password
Password strength indicators and validation messages appear as the user types.
The Sign Up button remains disabled until all required information is provided.
Use the reveal password icon if you want to verify the entered password.
Once the form is complete, click Start 3PL Onboarding.
The Merchant is redirected to their Merchant Profile screen where they can finish setting up their account. A success notification confirms the registration.
