How to Update and Modify Personal Information

Updating your personal information in BeautySnap is simple. Follow the steps below to keep your profile up to date.

1. Access Your Profile Settings

• Navigate to the BeautySnap webpage and log in to your account.

• Once logged in, you will be redirected to the main dashboard.

• From the dashboard, click on the 'Settings' option in the left sidebar to access your profile settings.

2. View the 'My Profile' Section

• The 'My Profile' section will be displayed, divided into two panels:

  • Left Panel: Personal information (First Name, Last Name, Email)

  • Right Panel: Password update section.

3. Update Personal Information

• In the left panel, locate the fields for First Name, Last Name, and Email.

• Click into each field to modify your details. You will be able to type and see your changes in real-time.

• After updating the information, click the 'Save Changes' button.

• Once saved, you will see a green confirmation message indicating the changes were successfully made.

4. Update Your Password (Optional)

• In the right panel, locate the fields for Password and Confirm Password.

• Type your new password in the Password field. The password will appear as asterisks for privacy.

• Click the eye icon next to the field if you'd like to view the password you typed.

• In the Confirm Password field, type the same password to match the original one.

• The 'Save Changes' button will remain disabled until the passwords match.

• Once the passwords match, the button will be enabled. Click 'Save Changes' to confirm your new password.

• A green confirmation message will appear to confirm the change.

5. Handling Unmatching Passwords

• If the passwords do not match, the 'Save Changes' button will stay disabled to prevent incorrect changes.

• Make sure both password fields match exactly before saving.

6. Log Out and Log Back In

• After saving your updated password, log out of the platform.

• Try logging back in using your new password. You will successfully access your account using the updated login credentials.

• If you attempt to log in with your old password, you will not be able to access the platform.

By following these steps, you can easily update your personal information and keep your account secure with a new password when needed.
